The city with 2 names

Today we flew from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon). After settling, we went on a 'cyclo' tour, taking in the site where a Buddhist monk sacrifised himself to highlight persecution, the RC cathedral, (Notre Dame), the post office, the Palace, the opera House, site of the final US helicoptor evacuation, and the very sobering 'War Remnants Museum'. Saigon is very different to Hanoi, or other places we have been, and its a curious mix of the very modern but with some folk still having dinner on the pavement! We had a great meal out at the end of the evening.
