Yesterday was a lazy Saturday, and after a great steak dinner with friends the evening before we had a quiet morning, which lead into an equally quiet afternoon. However Steve and Nan had booked a sunset evening cruise from Raglan which is about 45 mins by car from Hamilton.

Raglan is a surfing town, and the girls couldn't resist an opportunity..........

After that, and also a strange incident involving a pair of shorts and an undisclosed brown substance, we set off for the jetty and boarded the boat which was called the Wahine Moe, which may mean "???? Girl" in Maori.

We had excellent fish and chips on the boat and the tour of Raglan Harbour and bay began.

The scenery was wonderful..........

..... and we were introduced by the Captain to 'Kevin'(don't ask)!

The highlight was to be the sunset, and Raglan did not disappoint.

We all agreed it was a great trip, and a perfect evening!
